The Negril Escape Hotel and Spa Review




The Negril Escape Hotel and Spa is located on west end road in Negril. This hotel is situated among lush gardens on the cliff right above the sea, which over look the famous Negril 7 miles beach. It has a large pool to accommodate all its guest. It has several villas which boast comfortable rooms which are standard and deluxe. The deluxe rooms has a kitchen for your convenience, the ceiling are very high and has a ceiling fan, also air conditioning is in every room. The rooms are fully equipped with cable T.V., toiletry and whatever your heart desires. The balconies have hammocks and some with a single bed for relaxation.
There is a restaurant bar and lounge for your dining and pleasure. Breakfast is also including free of cost, room service is available. Negril Escape is a private resort where you cannot be bother or hustle by anyone all the staff are great they go above and beyond for every guest. Free wirelesss internet, free shuttle to and from the beach,wheel chair access and reasonable rates .

Merrills Beach Resort Review






Merrills Resorts is located on Norman Manley Blvd in Negril, Westmoreland, Jamaica. This is a all inclusive resort which boast three locations Merrills 1,2 and 3. Merrills 3 is the least expensive of the 3. I have stayed at Number 2 and 3 and I like them both. All locations have a nice restaurant and bar on the beach, which makes it so relaxing. All meals are served buffet style and you can eat at any location out of the 3 resorts. The rooms are very clean with built-in closet and spacious bathrooms which is maintained on a daily basis. There is a nice spa and beauty salon at Merrills 3. The atmosphere at Merrills is relaxing, the staff from management,bar, restaurant, front desk and cleaners are very  friendly and welcoming all three location are close to downtown Negril, and if you like to party, they're very close to all the night clubs, the famous Jungle might club and many others.Over all a wonderful resort fro the budget conscious traveler.

The Pork Pit Review






The Pork Pit is located on Gloucester Ave in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This is on open air restaurant decorated with picnic tables on the patio and all around the restaurant . The Pork Pit specializes in jerk dishes such as jerk pork, jerk chicken, jerk sausages, ribs and seafood, all of which is seasoned, marinated then slowly cooked between logs from the pimento trees on top of flaming grill. As soon as you enter the pork pit you can smell the aroma of the mouth watering delicacy served straight from the grill. The side dishes are festivals which is made from flour, sugar, baking powder , salt and other ingredients which is fried and is so tasty. Other side dishes are baked sweet potatoes, french fries, roasted yams, coleslaw and etc. You can have a cold red stripe beer, or many other drinks of your choice. All meat are served by weight 1/4 lbs, 1/2 lbs, or 1 lbs or whatever you desire, The cost $9-12 USD.
The Pork Pit hours are: Sun-Thur 11 A.M. - 11 P.M. and Fri- Sat 11 A.M. - 12 A.M.

El Greco Resort Review



El Greco Resort is located on The Queen’s drive, on Gloucester Ave on the hip street in Montego Bay entertainment district, an elevator shaft that is connected to the hotel can take you to the beach, shops and Margaritaville, It is also close to the casino. A bamboo grove flows over the entrance as you arrive at this resort. The rooms are standard, superior and executive suite, all rooms are equipped with cable T.V., complimentary wireless internet, in-room safe, most have kitchen inside the suites. Couples, single and groups are welcomed at this resort. You can dine at the Sea View restaurant, which serves up scrumptious Jamaican and International dishes and free breakfast is included to all guest. The staff at this hotel is very courteous and friendly, also security is 24 hours, and they make sure all their guest are protected. Prices range from $112 – up per night.

Tilted Kilt Review



Tilted Kilt is located on 285 Enfield Place, right in the heart of the fashion and entertainment Mississauga district. It’s an Irish pub theme, the waitresses are attired in plaid slanted kilts, long white socks and white midriff top. Elegant interior with plasma TV all around the perimeter of the restaurant with an outside patio to enjoy the summer weather while watching sports. The crowd are sport enthused individuals that like to enjoy social environment. The menu has various items to choose from: Tilted Kilt's Irish Nachos and The Classic “Big Arse” Hamburger that will leave your mouth watering for more. They also have many beverages from Beer cocktails, Kilt bombers, Drought beers and Bottled beers. The activities and entertainment they offer at this location is really good.

Shields Negril Beach Resort Review


Shields Negril is a unique 36 bedroom villa beachfront resort, located on the seven miles beach in Negril. Shields provides a cozy, family feeling which is welcoming to singles or families. They offer standard, beach view, and deluxe rooms, and if you desire a longer stay there is one - two bedroom studios that are comfortable and relaxing.
Their menu is standard you will get a  international or Jamaican cuisine from the restaurant and breakfast is included in your stay.  For entertainment purposes families can take their children to the spacious and fun-filled pool to have a great time in the basking sun. Shields is just a 5 minute walk to downtown Negril. Staffers are very welcoming and friendly.
