The Pork Pit Review






The Pork Pit is located on Gloucester Ave in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This is on open air restaurant decorated with picnic tables on the patio and all around the restaurant . The Pork Pit specializes in jerk dishes such as jerk pork, jerk chicken, jerk sausages, ribs and seafood, all of which is seasoned, marinated then slowly cooked between logs from the pimento trees on top of flaming grill. As soon as you enter the pork pit you can smell the aroma of the mouth watering delicacy served straight from the grill. The side dishes are festivals which is made from flour, sugar, baking powder , salt and other ingredients which is fried and is so tasty. Other side dishes are baked sweet potatoes, french fries, roasted yams, coleslaw and etc. You can have a cold red stripe beer, or many other drinks of your choice. All meat are served by weight 1/4 lbs, 1/2 lbs, or 1 lbs or whatever you desire, The cost $9-12 USD.
The Pork Pit hours are: Sun-Thur 11 A.M. - 11 P.M. and Fri- Sat 11 A.M. - 12 A.M.

El Greco Resort Review



El Greco Resort is located on The Queen’s drive, on Gloucester Ave on the hip street in Montego Bay entertainment district, an elevator shaft that is connected to the hotel can take you to the beach, shops and Margaritaville, It is also close to the casino. A bamboo grove flows over the entrance as you arrive at this resort. The rooms are standard, superior and executive suite, all rooms are equipped with cable T.V., complimentary wireless internet, in-room safe, most have kitchen inside the suites. Couples, single and groups are welcomed at this resort. You can dine at the Sea View restaurant, which serves up scrumptious Jamaican and International dishes and free breakfast is included to all guest. The staff at this hotel is very courteous and friendly, also security is 24 hours, and they make sure all their guest are protected. Prices range from $112 – up per night.
